Boulder Retaining Wall Terrace Gardens

Working with Environmental Services and Lakeshore Owners, Touch of Eden Landscaping advocates for long-term solutions and minimal maintenance projects. Lakeshore property takes an extra bit of processing before breaking ground. Most of the surrounding counties have special ordinances in place based on the ordinary high water line (OHWL), to give extra care to water runoff mitigation ~ advocating simultaneously for homeowners and the sustainability/preservation of lake life. This Large Boulder Retaining Wall Design turned an eroding hillside, Triple-Terrace railroad timber frame, and lackluster waterfront into a Double Terrace whimsical Rock Garden with curb appeal. The New Profile of the boulder walls was actually pushed back into the hillside, giving allowance for a broader lakefront view from the lake home. This was a win-win-win project. The County, Homeowners, and Landscaping team are most pleased with the outcome and finishing touches.
