Beachfront Access

Touch of Eden Landscaping has had the privilege of working on some beautiful properties; this beachfront access was no joke. There was enough Lakeshore at this one-of-a-kind property to have 3 unique pathways leading to separate dock systems. Troubleshooting low water reservoirs due to climate variations has caused many to think outside the box. Our Design and Install crew was able to match existing landscape features and extend all three points of access. Two out of the Three Beachfront Access were equipped with step units to drop the elevation to the Ordinary High Water Level (OHWL). But this particular lake is anything but ordinary; you would think this was a tidal bay with the ebb and flow of extreme lows and highs that seasonally fluctuate the water level on this lake. So we made adjustments by adding additional natural stone step units and massive flagstone steppers. A few of these flagstone pieces were so massive that we had to break them in half to stay within the 4’ wide ordinance allowance. The 3rd Access point was a New Dock System, so we carved in a brand new gradual flagstone path along the wooded edge. Picture perfect, and just in time for the peak occupation of summer.
